Macau Kopitiam (澳门茶餐室) is one of several breads & buns joints in Taman Banang of Batu Pahat, along the trunk road of Jalan Bukit Pasir. The coffee shop offers Macau-specialty pork chop bun, other variants of buns and Macau-style dishes.

Macau Kopitiam serves quite a wide variety and style of buns, toasts and sandwiches with different fillings, such as chicken cutlet, fish fillet, salmon fillet, otak-otak, cheese, omelette, etc. There are also Macau-style curry rice with options for pork cutlet, fish fillet or chicken, and other rice and noodle dishes.

Macau Kopitiam (澳门茶餐室): Menu

The Macau-specialty pork chop bun, named Charbroil Cutlet Pork Roti (猪扒包), has a piece of fried pork chop that is cut into pieces and sandwiched in a soft bun that has a nice texture and not chewy. The pork chop is well-fried with crispy batter and is tender and juicy. Delicious.

The Charbroil Half-Boiled Egg Roti (炭烤半生) is served with a half-boiled egg on a really thick toast. The toast is spread with butter before being toasted, but is soft and fluffy inside, and the half-boiled egg is more on the cooked side but still with a runny yolk. The toast gives a mellow butter aroma and is nice with sweet-eggy flavour from the molten egg yolk.

Aside from going to Macau Kopitiam for different buns for breakfast and afternoon coffee/tea, their noodle and rice dishes are great to try for lunch too.
