Mr. Baguette is a Singapore brand that specialises in baguette and also pastries using baguette — in innovative ways. The confectionery chain, established since 2010, has its outlets in Hougang (The Promenade), Beach Road (Golden Mile Food Centre) and Bukit Batok West. The new Bukit Batok outlet is located in Le Quest Shopping Mall, between Koufu foodcourt and Fruitty Juicy, a fruit juice shop.

Mr. Baguette's signature confections are none other than their plain baguette and toast series with different toppings (butter, garlic or various types of cheese). There are Baguette Mini Bites, with butter or garlic flavours, that are baked till crispy and can be kept for longer time — very much like roti kok. For sweet confections, there are quite a wide selection of flavours for lava "cups", tarts and pie — it is cheaper to get 2 pieces of lava / tart / pie (can mix). There are various flavours of iced matcha and hojicha lattes too.

The Signature Homemade Plain Baguette has a nice aroma with crispy crust and is soft and airy inside. It is nice to chew as it is and even nicer to stuff it with ingredients like a Vietnamese banh mi — best to buy and eat it within the day.

The series of Lava "cups" come with a selection of molten fillings in baguette-made "cups" and freshly-baked daily. If any of the baked items are sold out, give the staff about 5 minutes to bake new ones on order. Each freshly-baked hot lava cup will have crispy baguette-cup with fluid lava filling and best to be eaten before they turn cold. The lava can really flow and may spill if the "cup" is broken, so eat from top-down.

The Adzuki Lava cup is made with matcha lava topped with Japanese adzuki beans in a baguette-cup. Some beans may turn crunchy after baking and give the pastry extra texture. It has just-nice sweetness without any matcha bitterness and has nice matcha and red beans flavours.
The Cookies & Cream Lava cup is topped with a piece of chocolate cookie and there are finely-crushed cookie in the yellow, creamy lava filling too. Similarly, it is of just-nice sweetness and the whole cookie adds crunchiness to the crispy baguette-cup.

The Red Velvet Lava cup has a reddish-brown thick filling that is made using beetroot, yogurt, chocolate and cheese. It has mild sweetness with chocolaty and cheesy flavour.
The Cheese Tart is baked with cheese in a soft buttery crust. The cheesy filling is smooth and creamy with added buttery flavour from the crust.

Although the lava cups can be stored in fridge and re-heated before eating, there is possibility of not heating them properly and the lava may still be partially frozen. Thus, it will be better to eat them straight after purchase. Tarts are meant to be eaten chilled, no heating up required.
