King of Fried Rice is a well-known brand for fried rice in Singapore. It has around 35 stalls in foodcourts throughout Singapore, including one in the food hall of Changi International Airport Terminal 4. There are also 2 outlets in Bukit Batok: one is located in Get Together Coffee Shop (欢聚一堂) in Bukit Batok West and the other outlet in Mei De Coffeeshop (美德咖啡店) in Bukit Batok East.

King of Fried Rice's specialty is fried rice with 4 different flavours: original, X.O., tom yum and mala. Each fried rice dish can be served plain or with shrimps, pork cutlet, crabmeat & tobiko (roes of flying fish), chicken chop or luncheon meat. Their must-try dish is Egg Fried Rice with Pork Cutlet. Other sides can also be added on.

King of Fried Rice: Menu

The signature Egg Fried Rice with Pork Cutlet (猪扒蛋炒饭) has a large piece of pork cutlet covering the fried rice. The short-grain, plump Japanese rice is fried with egg and has an eggy aroma and has well-balanced flavours, not too salty. The pan-fried pork cutlet with black pepper powder is tender and not overly strong-tasting. It is a nice dish indeed.

The Mala Fried Rice with Chicken Chop (鸡扒麻辣炒饭) is another tasty dish. The well-fried chicken chop with black pepper is succulent. The mala egg fried rice has mellow mala flavour and mild spicy. The spiciness level can be spiked by adding some mala paste — be warned, it's very spicy. Adjust the spiciness level according to own preference and it becomes a tasty and aromatic mala rice dish.

King of Fried Rice's fried rice dishes with meat are delicious. Which combination will I go for next?
