Lao San Prawn Noodles (老三虾面) has several outlets around Singapore and one of them is located in Mei De Coffeeshop (美德咖啡店) in Bukit Batok East. A new stall is also opened in Yong Li Coffee Station in Tengah. Lao San Prawn Noodles serves several noodle dishes including its traditional prawn noodle, pork ribs prawn noodle, and several noodle dishes with pig intestine, pig tail, pig stomach or pork ribs.

The soup-style Traditional Prawn Noodle (传统虾面) is served with 3 halves of big prawns, fishcake slices and beansprouts on yellow noodle — noodle type is selected as desired — and garnished with fried shallots and crispy fried pork lards. The prawns are fresh and the broth, boiled with pig bones and prawns, is rich and flavourful. The dish is tasty.

The dry-style Pork Rib Prawn Noodle (肉骨虾面) is served with several pieces of meaty pork ribs, a big prawn and fishcake slices on selected noodle. The noodle is tossed in a tasty sauce with some spiciness (default) and added with fried shallots and crispy fried pork lards. The noodle dish is accompanied by a bowl of the same tasty broth. The pork ribs are tender and its soft bones are soft enough to be eaten. It is another delicious dish.

Interestingly, Lao San Prawn Noodles has a Signature Noodle dish that has pig intestine, pig tail and pig stomach as its ingredients. I will try that next time.
