The wanton noodle stall in Bukit Batok West Hawker Centre is simply named as Wantan Noodle (老招牌云吞面) — without an English name, so I use "Lao Zhao Pai" (Chinese phonetics for "老招牌") to address it. As its name implies, the noodle stall specialises in wanton noodle and other variants with fried chicken cutlet and meat dumplings.

The Dry Signature Wanton Noodle (招牌云吞面) is served with generous amount of char siew (barbecue pork), two fried wanton and greens on thin egg noodle tossed in a light sauce with crispy fried pork lard. Three boiled wanton are served separately in a bowl of soup. The springy egg noodle has texture with near-similarity to kolo mee. The slices of char siew are tender and the wanton are savoury with soft skins and juicy minced meat fillings. It is a great dish to have for breakfast and lunch.

"Lao Zhai Pai" has several other noodle dishes and side dishes. The set meals, with a noodle dish and a side dish in each set, are cheaper.
