Mòng Bakery (梦) is located in Taman Banang of Batu Pahat Town, in a row of shophouses behind Burger King. The cafe is located on the second floor above a Chinese religious goods store. "Mòng" is the Mandarin pronunciation of the character "梦", which means "dream".

The entrance to Mòng Bakery is via a staircase besides the store. The cafe is quite spacious with several tables in the common area. There are more tables inside another two rooms, offering quieter environment. The cafe can be quite crowded during lunch time.

The iced yam latte, named "Violet", with yam ice-cream, coconut puree and bits of coconut jellies. The beverage has rich yam and coconut aromas and flavours. It is a great treat on hot days.

The Smoked Duck Kimchi Don has slices of smoked duck laid on a sunny-side-up egg that covers the kimchi and Japanese don and sprinkled with seaweeds, spring onions, mayonnaise and seasoning powder. The smoked duck meat is very tender, tasty and not too fatty. The kimchi has a pleasant flavour without the sheer taste of sourness nor spiciness. Overall, the don tastes marvellous with the seasoning power giving it some spiciness. This is seriously good!

The Yam Coconut Jelly Matcha Chiffon cake has layers of yam paste and light cream sandwiched with layers of matcha chiffon and a layer of coconut jelly. It has distinctive flavours of yam, coconut and matcha and with different textures giving the cake different taste combinations on every mouth. Best of all, it is not too sweet. Nice.

On Mòng Bakery's food menu, the list of Japanese don dishes are listed under the category "Kokoro Don". Sounds familiar? Yes, Kokoro Don has setup a new cafe in Johor Bahru near to Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Walk.
