Batu Pahat Eat: Fong Wee Restaurant (风味小食店) Hakka Noodle

Located along Jalan Abu Bakar, not far away from Batu Pahat Express Bus Terminal, Kedai Makan Fong Wee (风味小食店) sells Hakka noodle with yong taufu. The little shop is popular among the locals and is usually packed during lunch.

When ordering the food, customers can select the yong taufu ingredients to go with the noodles. The yong taufu are usually served in soup. Apart from soft tofu (beancurd), fried tofu, fried fish paste, etc, there are handmade pork balls and beef balls too. Needless to say, they are very fresh.

Fong Wee's Hakka noodle is topped with minced meat and beansprouts — mix them well before eating. The minced meat increases the flavour and texture of the springy and chewy noodle.

Fong Wee sells Hakka noodle with handmade yong taufu only and they make it good.
