Kung Wo Beancurd Factory (公和豆品厂) makes fresh soya / tofu products for sales (thus a "factory") as well as serving them as dishes in their shops. The "factory", recommended by Michelin Guide since 2016, has two outlets facing one another along Pei Ho Street (北河街): one is the original shop that makes and sells their products, whereas the other, newer outlet is setup as a restaurant for dine-in. There are also tables for dine-in at the original outlet for a rustic vibe.

Kung Wo Beancurd serves mainly their soya / tofu-made dishes, but other local dishes are available too. There are tofu pudding, tofu-milk pudding, tofu ice-cream, soya bean milk, fried beancurd / tofu puff / fish-tofu, etc, and a list of non-tofu local dishes, such as soya sauce noodle, cheung fun, radish cake, beef ball, Swiss sauce chicken / trotter, etc, to name a few.

The warm Tofu Pudding (豆腐花), without adding sugar, is silky smooth with rich tofu flavour and mildly sweet. The Tofu Ice-Cream with Ginger Syrup (姜糖豆腐雪糕) is surprisingly very fine and smooth with distinctive tofu flavour too and added with gingerly-sweetness from the ginger syrup. Both signature items are really must-tries.

Our orders comprising Mix Deep Fried, Steamed Rice Roll Soya, Soya Sauce Fried Noodle and 2 large glasses of hot Soya Bean Milk (热豆浆) without sugar.
The Soya Sauce Fried Noodle (豉油王炒面), a popular Hong Kong breakfast dish, is lightly stir-fried with soya sauce, beansprouts and spring onions. It is a light-tasting, non-oily dish to pair with the deep-fried items. The Steamed Rice Rolls (香滑肠粉) has firmer texture than stuffed cheung fun and accompanied by sesame sauce, sweet soya sauce and white sesame seeds for flavours. The dish has different tastes and texture compared to those served in Singapore and Malaysia.

The Mix Deep Fried (三拼) comprises of 2 deep-fried tofu (煎酿豆腐), 2 deep-fried tofu puffs (煎酿豆卜) and 2 Golden Fish & Soya Cake (黄金鱼腐). The fish & soya cake is similar to fishcake except that tofu is used in place of flour to mix with fish meat and fried. The 3 items are nicely fried, not oily, not salty and with distinct soya flavours. It is a nice side dish to accompany any staple dish.

Kung Wo Beancurd Factory is great place to go for breakfast / light meals / snack with soya / tofu-made dishes. The cold tofu pudding and ice-cream are great desserts on hot days too.
