Fatty Ox HK Kitchen (肥牛过桥面档) is a popular hawker stall among 200-over food stalls in Chinatown Complex Food Centre. The Michelin Guide-recommended stall serves its signature Hong Kong-style beef brisket & tendon noodle and other noodle dishes with roasted delights.

The Beef Brisket & Tendon Noodle (牛腩牛筋面), added with roasted duck meat, is a meaty dish — the lady stall owner gave me quite a big portion of the roasted duck. The beef brisket, including some very-soft beef tendons, is juicy and tender. The chilli is a mixture of several ingredients that enhances the flavours of the dish without making it too spicy.
The roasted duck is good too! The flavour of the herbs that are stuffed into the duck during roasting is well-absorbed into the meat and not salty. The skin is not fatty and the succulent meat could be separated from the bones without much effort. I love it!

There are more noodle dishes with roasted delights to go for at Fatty Ox HK Kitchen. The other recommended dish is their soy sauce chicken noodle.
