Singapore Cafe: Three Little Coconut by Mr. Coconut @ Tengah

Mr. Coconut is a well-known Singapore brand for its coconut-based beverages. And Three Little Coconut, by Mr. Coconut, serves coconut-based desserts in addition to the beverages. There are several Three Little Coconut cafes in Singapore and one of them is newly-opened in Plantation Plaza, Tengah.

Aside from fresh coconut juice and fruity series of coconut shakes, there are coconut coffees, coconut-flavoured snowy ice, coconut desserts, cendols & sago desserts, and croissants, macarons and croffle with coconut ingredients. Some of the desserts have options for hot or cold. Add-on toppings are available for cold beverages / desserts only.

The iced Coconut Caffe Latte (椰子拿铁) is made from freshly-brewed dripped coffee with coconut milk creamer. It has a nice flavour with mellow sweetness.
The hot Sweet Potato Orh Nee Paste (地瓜芋泥) is a dessert with natural sweetness and flavours of sweet potato and yam in the paste, and with a touch of coconut cream. It is a nice dessert with many flavours. Little cuts of soft sweet potato and yam flesh provide some chewing pleasure. The cold option will allow additional 2 toppings of choice.

The Uji Matcha Coconut Shake (宇治抹茶椰子冰沙), added with small bits of nata de coco that can go through the fat straw, has a blend of matcha and coconut flavours. It is nice to enjoy the natural flavours and sweetness of the iced shake without adding sugar.
The Coconut Pudding (椰子布丁) — with selected two toppings of earl grey jelly and taro balls — is served in coconut juice. The soft pudding has distinct flavour of sweet coconut flesh. The earl grey jelly is mildly sweet and has a nice mellow flavour of earl grey. The taro balls give a chewy texture to the pudding.

Under the Cendol & Sago Series, the Coconut Cendol (椰子煎蕊) uses coconut-flavoured snowy ice, topped with typical red beans, gula Melaka (palm sugar) and coconut cream, and also a scoop of coconut ice-cream. There are options for cendol — the name of the green noodles / jellies made with rice flour — or coconut noodle with mellow flavour of coconut flesh. A nice cendol dessert with more coconut flavours.
The cold Orh Nee Sago (芋泥西米露) is another yam paste dessert with big sago beads on refreshing coconut-flavoured snowy ice, coconut juice jellies and topped with coconut ice-cream. On top of the mellow sweetness of sago, there are nice yam and coconut flavours. Aside from orh nee, there are avocado and Uji matcha versions too.

Three Little Coconut is a nice place to go for coconut-based beverages and desserts with natural sweetness with low sweetness level.
