J2 Famous Crispy Curry Puff (驰名香脆咖喱卜), started by a husband-and-wife couple in 2007, is a famous curry puff stall in Amoy Street Food Centre, Chinatown. The stall serves 4 different types of handmade crispy-crust puff and is recommended by Singapore Michelin Guide since 2016.

The crispy puffs have different markings (red dots) to identify its fillings. The signature Curry Puff has no markings; Sardine Puff has 1 red dot; Black Pepper Puff has 2 dots and Yam Puff has 3 dots.

The Curry Puff has creamy, mildly-spicy filling with tender chicken meat and small cuts of potato and mashed potato in not-too-dry curry sauce. The Sardine Puff is stuffed with sardine with sweet shallots and some red chillies. It is slightly spicier than the curry puff. The Black Pepper Puff has tender chicken meat with sweet shallots in black pepper sauce that has mellow black pepper flavour and spicier than both the curry and sardine puffs. The Yam Puff is slightly smaller in size compared to the others and filled with mild-sweet yam paste with rich yammy flavour.

All the puffs are generously filled with their tasty ingredients in thin, flaky layered crusts that seem to disappear into thin air when eating. They are truly delicious.
