Ron Sheng Fish Soup (荣胜鱼汤), since 1995, is a Michelin-accoladed food stall in Yuhua Village Market and Food Centre, in Jurong East, that serves its signature fish soup. It started a new restaurant, named "Ron Sheng Fish Soup Premium", on level 2 of Plantation Plaza in Tengah, serving a wider range of dishes in an air-conditioned environment.

The restaurant serves its range of fish soups with either Golden Fried Fish (黄金炸鱼), sliced batang (鲜巴当鱼) or sliced red grouper (鲜红斑鱼), or mixes of the three, and seafood and fried red grouper. Hand-torn mee hoon kuey is also among the options for noodle / rice. Adding of evaporated milk is optional.

The Double Fish Soup (双鱼汤), with Golden Fried Fish and sliced batang fish, in original soup with mee hoon kuey is an uncommon combination. The mee hoon kuey is fully cooked through, soft and coated with flavours of the richly flavourful soup. The Golden Fried Fish is served separately, to be added to the soup as desired, and is surprisingly still crispy after soaking in the soup. The crispy batter also carries the soup's flavours. The sliced batang fish is very fresh. This fish soup is delicious.

The same Double Fish Soup (双鱼汤) with thick bee hoon and added with evaporated milk offers a different taste experience. The milk adds a mellow milky-sweet flavour to the soup and tones down its savouriness. Note that the chilli (self-service), added with cincalok (fermented small shrimps), is very spicy.

Aside from fish soups, Ron Sheng also serves porridges and traditional noodle dishes, using mee hoon kuey with options for soup-base. They serve coffee and tea too
