Seah Family Teochew Braised Duck (谢家潮州卤鸭) is located in one corner of Bukit Timah Interim Hawker Centre, facing a bus stop along Jalan Jurong Kechil. The food stall serves their braised duck with kway chap, rice, noodle or porridge. Beansprouts, as side dish, and add-ons are available.

The Duck Kway Chap (鸭肉粿汁) comprises of deboned braised duck meat, braised beancurd, braised tofu puff and braised egg with a bowl of kway chap (flat broad rice noodle) in mild-savoury broth. The duck meat has smooth skin, very tender and delicious. The other braised ingredients in savoury sauce are nice too and not salty. The dish is paired with sour-sweet-spicy chilli that enhances the tastes of the ingredients.

The Braised Duck Rice (鸭饭) is served with braised duck meat on rice that is well-mixed in braised sauce, which uses a number of Chinese spices and has a mild peppery flavour. The smooth and tender duck meat with the braised sauce and peppery flavours is delicious. A small scoop of their special chilli paste for the duck rice is tasty but very spicy. This is nice too.

The Duck Noodle (鸭面) — added-on with a braised egg — uses yellow noodle by default unless kway teow kia (粿条仔) is opted for. The dish has similar tender braised duck meat and is supposedly dry-style, with no separate bowl of soup, but the braised broth covers half the bowl. The broth has mellow herbal taste, flavourful and no overly strong tastes. This is another delicious dish with a different taste experience from the other dishes.

Seah Family's Teochew braised duck dishes are delicious and they put in efforts to debone the duck meat and create a braised sauce with nice and unique flavours.
