Yap Fong Noodle House (叶芳面家), located among a row of shophouses near Sungai Johor (Johor River) in Kota Tinggi Town, is well-known among locals. Aside from making their own Hakka noodle, the noodle house serves their only Hakka-style noodle dish, of near-60 years, with multiple ingredients.

Yap Fong's signature noodle dish was served with their homemade Hakka noodle on dark sauce, oil and chilli (optional), and added with some char siew, minced meat and chopped spring onions. In a separate bowl of soup was a piece of stuffed beancurd, a fishball and two pieces of special fried meat — 1 long and 1 round. The noodle, after tossing with the sauce, has a pleasant flavour with slightly firmer texture. The savoury fried meat was still crispy despite being served in the soup. The noodle dish is delicious indeed.

For more ingredients of Yap Fong's noodle dish, order either small / large portion with add-ons. The fried meat will make you go back for more.
